A bar is supposed to make you feel relaxed and comfortable. After a hard day`s work, it`s a place that a person is supposed to be able to unwind conveniently with a couple of drinks and possibly make idle conversation. Of course, there are people who transact business in bars but those are the exception. The majority of customers go there to relax and I don`t think there is anyone that loves to seat on hard stools in a bar while sipping his or her drinks-I don`t! However it`s common enough to find such bars, a problem easily rectified with stool cushions.
Construction of Wooden Bar Stool Wooden stools made using hardwood are crafted immaculately and give long lasting sheen. Hardwood requires nails, composites and durable screws. Though, hardwood is expensive, it comes out with the best results.
If you are looking for stools for your home, you might just want to spare a few minutes to see what styles of stools are available in both padded and plastic. You might just be surprised at the variety, style and colors these two types of stools can offer. While not every bar stool will fit every type of décor or individual taste having so many different materials and styles to choose from increases the chances of finding the right one for your home. Padded and plastic stools are just two of the many choices available today.
A restaurant owner avoids crowding their dinning room, the same logic holds true for the bar area. Too much furniture crowded together can cause an uncomfortable experience for the customer. The industry standard for seating placement is 26 to 30 inches distance as measured from the center of each stool. This provides enough room for dinners to eat and socialize without feeling crowded. Using this method, a business owner can measure their allotted bar space and then determine how many bar stools they will need.
Also, there are bar stools with or without backrest. The latest model, one without a backrest is most often encountered in bars, because it is very easy to use. The colours vary, and you can find stools in the most unusual greens, blues or reds, colours that enhance the metal work, particularly in the night clubs. The material we sit on is also important so, again, the options are multiple and you may go for for fabric, plastic, or, more expensive, for leather, according to your personality, the colours and the other furniture and décor in your room.
A lot of commercial bars typically feature bar stools with round seats; as such, the appropriate cushions would be round bar stool cushions. In order to cut cost, several bars feature wooden topped round bar stools rather than cushioned stools. While I believe there`s nothing wrong with that, it shouldn`t be at the expense of the customer`s satisfaction! How much can cushions cost? Despite their minimal cost, round bar stool cushions make a lot of difference in keeping a bar`s clientele coming back. By the way if the bar you frequent as a customer does not have round bar stool cushions, change it!
The drawback with stainless steel stool for a bar is that it is quite heavy. An alternative metal to construct quality stool is aluminum. Known for being ultra-light and non-corrosive, aluminum is also respected for its strength.
If you have a more formal or traditional kitchen, there are many bar stools that will go perfectly. I like a heavier stool with this look so you might try an oak or cherry stool that is solid and with arms. If you want an upscale pub look, try wood and leather bar stools that add class and elegance to any room.
