1. The invention of baby carrots.
Probably, you just run to a store and pick up baby carrots. Also, your kids might not have taken another type of carrots. Usually, carrots grow differently and are usually long, ugly roots covered in a dirty skin. Actually, baby carrots did not exist before the 1980s. Therefore, grocery stores had to do with the misshapen, ugly carrots. For this reasons, customers would only choose those that looked pretty. 2. A machine that gets rid of salt contained in salt water.
Normally, people are aware that salt water is not healthy for drinking. Actually, it is also dangerous since salt would cause dehydration. Actually, of the world water, 97% is salt water and 2% has been frozen in glaciers. Studies are being done on a machine that eliminates salt from salt water. Actually, MIT researchers have been able to create that machine in an eco-friendly and cost-effective way. The machine is able to make water completely healthy and drinkable.
3. Invention of an anti-shake spoon.
Basically, spoons with the ability to counteract shaky hands are now available. This technology employs 360-degree stabilization to reduce the shaking by 85%. Actually, people with hand tremors or the Parkinson’s diseases may experience difficulty eating. When designing these spoon, these people were also considered. A medical grade silicone is used together with other safe materials to manufacture this anti-shake spoon. This spoon will also automatically shut off if not being used.
4. Green rice.
Basically, it is not a green colored rice. This rice is usually genetically modified. This helps to provide stability in areas where floods result in food destruction. Basically, it is the genetical modification of seeds that make them withstand flooding. The green rice technology can be as big as the green revolution in the 1960s. During the green revolution, crop production doubled. Because of this, green rice can offer a solution to the hunger problem.
